iPhone and Android
Not applicable — the app has no account
01What to include
- iPhone or Android, device model and OS version
- Kihya Camera app version
- What you tapped, what you expected and what happened
- Whether it affects Photo, Video, Gallery, Editor or Settings
- An approximate time if the problem may appear in diagnostic analytics
Please do not send private photos, videos, precise locations, authentication codes or unrelated personal information. A cropped screenshot with sensitive content hidden is usually enough.
02Camera or controls do not respond
- Confirm Camera permission in the phone's system settings.
- Close Kihya Camera and reopen it. If another camera or video-call app is active, close that app first.
- Check available storage and battery/thermal warnings.
- Try the default rear camera, 1× lens, Photo mode and Makgeolli Haze filter.
- If the issue continues, restart the phone and include the device model in your email.
03A photo does not appear in the gallery
Saving and browsing use separate system permissions. Check whether the item exists in the phone's main Photos or Gallery app. Save right after capture is off by default, so press Save on the result screen unless you turned it on. If the in-app gallery has limited access, add the item through the system photo picker or update photo permissions.
When Save right after capture is on, photos save in order in the background. A short delay can occur after rapid consecutive shots, but the camera remains available.
04Video recording, saving or recovery
Microphone permission is requested when video with sound is first recorded. Available resolution and frame-rate combinations depend on the device. If a high-quality profile is unavailable or unstable, choose 1080p at 30 fps and retry.
Kihya Camera checks free space before and during recording. If recording stops because the safety reserve was reached, the completed video remains in the app's recovery area. Free some space, return to the result screen and choose Save again. The result is restored after relaunch and remains until you save it or confirm deletion. If storage is completely exhausted before a playable file can be completed, free space and record again.
05Privacy, analytics and account deletion
Location metadata is off by default. Watermark and device/filter metadata can be managed in Settings, where a separate read-only disclosure explains Firebase Analytics. Kihya Camera has no sign-in or server account, so no account-deletion URL or request is required. Uninstalling clears local app preferences; saved system-library media must be deleted separately.
See the Privacy Policy for the complete data-handling explanation.
06Languages and accessibility
The app supports English, Korean, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese (Taiwan), Vietnamese, Thai, Filipino and Hindi. It follows the system language by default and also provides an in-app language choice. System text size, VoiceOver/TalkBack and reduced-motion preferences are supported where the platform provides them.
07Portrait retouching or Level Shot
Portrait retouching appears after you take a photo with Kihya Camera; it is not available for existing library photos. If no face is clearly visible, the result may look unchanged. Photos, face data and face analysis stay entirely on the device.
Level Shot works in Photo mode only and turns off when the timer is selected. After you press the shutter, hold the phone steadily near level. Kihya will shoot as soon as the frame settles, or within five seconds at the latest.
